Synopsis
When an actor has a close encounter with the apparition of an elderly woman, no one is able to differentiate what is truly supernatural and what is simply a ploy by the director to get an authentic reaction from her cast. The lines between this guerrilla filmmaking and the supernatural are further blurred when the lead actress goes missing. Is it all scripted or is this hotel actually haunted? The Story Behind the Story
My third movie, a supernatural thriller titled NIGHT ENCOUNTERS, has been released on various platforms across the U.S., including Amazon Prime, and is currently awaiting its release in India.
Since my school days, I’ve had supernatural experiences and possess an extrasensory perception that allows me to sense energies and entities beyond the physical realm. I had written a horror story back in school, though I never pursued it further at the time because, frankly, it scared me.
But this time, I felt compelled to make NIGHT ENCOUNTERS, not just to entertain, but to help people understand the supernatural from a real, grounded perspective. I didn’t want to make another gimmicky horror flick. I wanted to tell a story one with meaning, depth, and authenticity. Something raw and real.
How did I pull the cast together and manage to secure partial funding? That’s a wild story in itself.
The craziest part? While filming, several members of our crew had actual supernatural encounters on set. It was unbelievable. Yet somehow, we saw it through and completed the film.
Now, I’m just eagerly waiting to share NIGHT ENCOUNTERS with audiences in India.
