The Story Behind the Story

PRAVAAH – The Flow is a project that’s especially close to my heart. Written, directed, and produced entirely by me, this film is inspired by my own travel and life experiences. I’ve always been a traveler at heart with numerous solo trips under my belt. I’ve encountered moments of stillness, chaos, beauty, and introspection that only the road can offer.

For a long time, I dreamt of creating a full-length travel movie, but like most independent filmmakers, I had to work around budget limitations. So instead, I poured my heart into crafting a short film that would still capture the essence of that dream.

PRAVAAH follows a solo traveler as he journeys through five unique experiences, each one symbolic, personal, and transformative in its way. The film reflects not just the physical journey, but the emotional and spiritual flow that one often discovers when they step outside their comfort zone and into the unknown.

It’s a tribute to everyone who’s ever traveled alone and come back changed, not just by places, but by the conversations, silences, and realizations along the way.

It was supported by a Dear Friend and wonderful Soul Prateek Chakravorty with his prestigious Banner Pramod Films, coming in as a Presenter for Pravaah.
